Bau busuk di Pajam

Going to be 4 months soon since we moved to Pajam.

 

My colleagues said "of all place, why move to Kampung.." or... "even the unifi gal tak pernah dengar nama your place... " even .."if I were to move to somewhere, I will make sure the place punya nama got commercial valuelah" (like I care? haha!)

 

Yes, they often mistakenly heard "Pajam" as "Kajang". I know! Tell me about it!

 

Your fault not mine. I have not heard about the place before we bought a house here but I am sure I did not mistakenly heard it as Kajang. Maybe she is just super excited to close her sale that she wants to hear Kajang. Kan?

 

Btw, Pajam is not yet unified..

 

 

Anyway, I think throughout the Semenanjung has been hot lately. Maybe it is summer now here. It was just so unbearably hot at night. Last month we open our windows quite often.

 

 

But last 3 days, around 8-9pm (right before Merlin) the smell is very very strong. memang gila nak muntah lah kalau nak pergi kunci gate. Last night for the first time, bau taik ayam yang mereka gembar gemburkan selama ni baru I terbau :)

 

 

That was my first time to smell it. OMG! It was super terrible. I do not even want my parents to be here during this time.

 

 

Some of the residents here dah buat macam2.... dah engage MPN lah, gerakan umno lah, dah buat solat hajat, dah masukkan kat KOSMO, news, dan terbaru dialogue with wakil rakyat. But still NOTHING drastic.

 

 

It is something yang surprisingly did not go away easily. Remember selalunya kalau dah masuk paper etc, kelam kabut wakil rakyat akan uruskan. But here, noooooopeeeee... It is still stagnantly there.

According to the latest answer from the wakil rakyat or whoever lah, the owner of the kandang ayam tu in progress of upgrading their facilities.

For the sampah tu, even though they said they have built the "god knows whatlah" to convert the sampah sarap to energy, the smell is still there lah. If you pass over the highway, you will see it is as big mountain as it is. maybe the same big size as the hill surrounded the arealah.

 

 

We did not see this in Singapore, the smallest country in Asia. Because? They have systems. They care about it. They think about it.

 

 

Here? I think , they expect the rakyat to bear with it. Be patience with it. That this is normal. otherwise where do you want to campak the sampah right? It will be big investment to do indoor garbage disposal (like in singapore etc).

 

Anyway, I am frustrated at the speed of how they solve this MAJOR problems. It does not makes sense to have to bear with any smells. I am not sure if this is healthy for the residents. Imagine for those who have lived here since day 1 - the kampung2 etc. Who voice this out to the relevant party ? arghh... so frustrating and kesian.

 

 

For those who have bought the house. Relax. Do not panic. But anyway, as much as this is a big disadvantage of staying here, once we are in the house, our life is pretty much normal. I'm glad the children almost did not notice of the smell. They have never complaint.
 

 

This morning it is back to normal. No smell. So to abandon the house and your big investment for something like that (it is also once in a while kind of thing) maybe not worth it. We could have bought the same square feet areas at Puchong BUT for 1.5Mil, over here the price is 800k cheaper. Kalau 8 ringgit maybe stupid decisionlah... Trust me we have considered this hehe...even solat istikharah, we even ONCE cancelled our purchased, but then we could not find something bigger and with enough rooms with the price.  I even so desperately takut salah decision I solat hajat mintak angin bawak bau tu ke tempat lain masa ramadhan yang lepas... at that time we were not even staying here... :P

I am very sure, it will be resolved. It is just a matter of time. Even if it takes another 10 years it will be resolved. Trust me as no problem with no resolution :) Nevertheless, whoever is ruling, it is bad bad bad management ok! Noone deserves to live in a place with any smell! You have the power to change this, please do it.
